Beyond the Desk: Janet Wong

Meet Janet, one of PageFreezer's Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). She works closely with the Account Executives to help achieve the company's revenue goals for the year. Get to know her a little better in this Beyond the Desk Interview:

We're extremely excited to announce that PageFreezer has earned ISO 27001:2013 certification. ISO 27001:2013 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), which specifies an information security management system (ISMS) aimed at gaining greater control over data security.

PageFreezer recently added a host of enterprise-level security features to our suite of products. The new enterprise-level security features were designed to empower our customers with even greater control over how and by who archived data is accessed. These advanced security features consist of two-factor authentication (2FA), password policy management, concurrent login management, and IP whitelisting.

Late in 2018, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged two robo-advisers with false disclosures. It wasn’t just the first time that the SEC went after these modern software-driven investment operations, it was yet another example of how important compliant social media use and recordkeeping is.

You’ve probably heard of web crawlers (sometimes also called spiders or spiderbots). Much like real spiders scurrying around, these bots systematically scour the internet for website content. They discover and visit sites by following links in order to copy pages and process them.

When it comes to social media and website archiving solutions for government organizations, pricing models can be rather nebulous. This is not an accident. Many archiving vendors use a strategy of charging a low fee for a small number of records, so initial prices seem very reasonable, but as soon as social media channels gain traction and see success, the organization suddenly finds itself being charged a lot more because of all the records created.

Peter Callaghan, a tech-industry veteran, recently joined PageFreezer as Chief Revenue Officer. Peter has a proven track record of helping tech companies scale and grow their market share and revenue.

PageFreezer has released a compliance archiving solution for SMS/mobile text that further expands its product line. In addition to providing website, social media, and corporate chat solutions, PageFreezer now offers archiving of text messages for both employer-issued and personal mobile phones.

Social media offers an unprecedented opportunity for information sharing and conversation. As an example, just consider Twitter. For many of us, Twitter has become our go-to for breaking news. And unlike television or print media, it allows us to play an active part in that news—we can share information, offer our condolences, show our frustration, and sometimes even report from the scene.
